About Sherrie

My name is Sherrie Villa and I am running for Lilburn City Council Post 4. I have lived in Lilburn, GA for over 10 years, I am a mother of 2 girls ages 3 and 15, and I am also a wife. I am currently serving on the McClure Health and Science School Council. My professional career includes 20+ years in the workers compensation industry, Medicare Compliance, and I am a licensed health insurance agent helping 1000’s of senior citizens enroll in essential Medicare Advantage plans.

I am running for City Council because I LOVE Lilburn and I am a proud member of the Lilburn community. I have no political agenda, I am simply a concerned member of the community. When presented with the opportunity to join the City Council, I knew that it was my time to serve the community. I am among the "unknown" members of the community, and I want to ensure that the voices and concerns of ALL Lilburn residents are heard.

FAQ's

Population Expansion

Growth and the expansion of the population is necessary and brings revenue into the city. How do we ensure that our local schools can accommodate the increase in population.

Based on the City of Lilburn "Construction Projects" page we will have an increase on an estimated 700+new homes by the end of 2022. Are the local schools prepared? Are staffed with sufficient police officers?

2021 Most Diverse City

According to "Niche" Lilburn is the 2021 Most Diverse Suburbs in Georgia!

Leadership in Lilburn must reflect a true picture of this strong, caring, and diverse community. We need your help to make the City Council a committee of people with the same goal and the ability to understand ALL the needs of the community, by electing people like myself to serve as your representative.
